USGS reports moderate earthquake in Puerto Rico
WASHINGTON, May 16 (Reuters) - A magnitude 5.7 earthquake hit in western Puerto Rico on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake occurred at 1:16 a.m. local time (0516 GMT) at a depth of 68 miles (110 km). It was centered about 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and 67 miles (107 km) west of San Juan.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
